Catch-up!

I just want to say how much I love Colter. I consider myself "fragile" right now, and Colter has been so good to me. He takes care of me 24/7, makes our meals, cleans dishes, washes our clothes, works on his projects, grocery shops, and everything in between.
He doesn't complain.
He brings me meals and drinks with a smile.
Could I ask for more?
I feel so blessed.
I love you Colter.
Guess who is getting married!

We couldn't be more excited for BJ & Whitney!
Whitney has been part of our family for quite a while, and we all love her.

Christmas 2010

Christmas was a little different than we had planned, but it turned out great!

I wasn't able to get pictures like I usually would, so this is all I have:)

He was too tired to shop!

Thanksgiving Day!

Cuttin up the yummy relish plate!

Dad and Trycen waiting to eat

Colter took Addie for a ride on the snowmobile.

Brr....

This was a fun craft that my mom provided for us to do!
A few things to remember:
  • Addie wants the PLATTER, not the lunch special
  • Trycen loves my mom more than anyone...COMBINED!
  • Colter can become a farmer in 8 hours on the computer..ugh
  • My mom just might make the best food, E.V.E.R.
  • Us Lott kids are kinda dumb...thanks Dad! :)
  • Steel toe boots does not mean you can kick anything you want, as hard as you want
  • Staying up way past our bedtime does not mean we will conquer Donkey Kong!
  • Colter "just wanted to run!"...at top speed.
  • My parents house can be freezing if the fireplace won't work!
  • Addie will give you a free 2 hour Christmas Concert, without even asking her!
  • Yes, Jadon and I are on the same eating schedule now
  • If Colter takes you for a snowmobile ride, you might tip over and roll. Right, Adds?

I am so thankful I can call these people my family! What a blessing!

Ranch 2010

We were lucky enough to go spend a few days at the Ranch again this year. It is so nice to be able to go up there to relax and remember my Grandpa and Uncle. Thanks to BJ for helping get things ready to go and also making it happen! I have to share a funny story, I had text Addie and asked if she would bring some DVD's and games to the Ranch. The first night we were up there, we had just finished getting everything set up and were watching some TV, and then she turned to me and said "Shan, I forgot to bring the Ranch!" She was so worried that she had ruined our entire trip, until I burst into laughter! I didn't ask her to bring Ranch, I asked her to bring DVD's and games TO the Ranch. It is the 2010 Ranch joke! As a reminder the 2009 Ranch joke is also from Addie, "Duh BJ, there is a creek down there!" Haha...I love my family!

Enjoying the campfire!

Isn't he so cute?! He is my favorite brother!!!

Breakfast!!

Trycen thought he was Grandpa, sitting in his chair with the remote and Diet Coke. Pretty dang cute:)

Trycen is spoiled...by everyone! He is one lucky boy to have so many family members to hold him!

Tyler ready to go on our first ride.

Two flat tires! Are you serious?

They almost look like twins:)

Just a little mud.

The look of frustration.

Me, Dad and BJ

Colter made smores.

"This is the place"

We enjoyed hot dogs for lunch.

This year we decided to hike down, it is a lot steeper than it looks!

Addie has Bruce fingers...how appropriate!

Adds claims she has a spider in her shirt.

Tafi loved playing fetch!

We missed Kira in this picture! Trycen decided he couldn't sleep at the Ranch so they had to head home.

Colter made us some dutch oven dinner.

I was taking the picture of my mom and this was what Addie did, kinda funny:)

Easy dad, don't dump it in the River!

Addie was so proud of her find down by the river...

She said she found this cool rock that was split right in half...Umm...Adds, I don't think it is a rock. She always keeps us laughing.

Searching for rocks.

Playing Blink while waiting for dinner.

Krisco couldn't decide if he wanted inside or to stay outside. I think he needs therapy!

Finally...time to eat!

This is a huge hole taken out of the mountain by a meteor. I went to this camp for girls camp a long time ago.

I think she was trying to push me in the hole.

Random Christmas tree...

Adds...how is your popcorn? A little salty? I promise, it wasn't me!

A nice gentleman from Texas offered to take this picture.
I had so much fun at the Ranch! I hope we get to do it next year.
