9.9.11 – 9.11.11
We left Friday morning and met my parents at the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot. I love the fair! My mom loves the Indian Relay races, and I had never been so we went to that. What a blast! Those are some tough Indians!! The pictures don’t really show it very well, but the race around the track (bare-back) and then come switch horses. It is pretty tense! Jorgen wasn’t so sure about all of the people. It was a good thing it was somewhat noisy in there, because she was sure yelling! It took her a little bit to warm up to new people. Lots of people were staring at us…And Colter got puked on a few different times. Poor guy!

Changing horses

And they were out of here!

Of course we ended up by the tractors!

Look at that sad face! We had to wake her up to walk into the fair, and she had a blow out right when we pulled into the fair so we had to find new clothes!

Ok…this isn’t too bad!

I am not okay with petting the animals yet, so we just walked through. I am so worried about germs for her, so we don’t touch anything yet!

These were some big horns! I think he might have been stuck.

Colter & Jor loved the baby pigs!

I forgot my sunglasses, can you tell? haha

I love that my dad is holding Jorgen’s hand. How precious!

I love this picture…I snapped it without my dad knowing what I was doing. He loves her. And we all know my mom loves her too!

We are home! And Addie was babysitting Erin’s cute little dog.

I am trying to not think about germs….

This cute little dog was nipping at the blanket, so play time with puppy is over!
Jorgen’s first shopping trip with Grandma!! She has to learn to be a good shopper!
We first went to Firehouse for some lunch…yum!

Then off to Target. We joke that we have to go up every aisle, we call it a “drive-by.” You just don’t know what kind of deal might be down each aisle unless you walk them all! Haha…
My mom walked around with her until she fell asleep! It was so cute. I was in the baby stuff looking, and my mom just kept making the rounds with this big smile on her face. She said that once Jor fell asleep, her little cheeks would bounce while they were walking.

She then woke up…she couldn’t miss it all! After all, almost every single item in the carts were for her!!

Aunty Brandy! We love Brandy! Brandy spent countless hours with Jorgen in the NICU. We for sure had our favorite nurses, and some not-so-favorite nurses. There were a couple nurses that I knew were taking good care of Jorgen. I feel that they loved Jorgen as much as I did. What a blessing.
I was so worried that Jorgen was going to scream when Brandy got here because she is going thru that stranger thing. But she LOVED her!! She gave Brandy so many smiles, and even a few giggles! I honestly think she remembers her. Such a special bond.

Isn’t she cute…both of them!!

Noah, Brandy, Jorgen, myself and Colter
This was my first time meeting Noah, and Jorgen loved him too!

Brandy fed Jorgen her bottle, and then she was out! Brandy spoiled me and Jorgen! So many gifts! Thanks Brandy! You are so sweet. We love you!
Hurry…mom will be home! Addie and I decided to try to make mom a little treat before she got home from church since I won’t be with her on her birthday. We mixed up the Caramel Brownies and got them in the oven. Just as my mom walked in from church, the buzzer was beeping. Uh oh! How are we going to get the brownies out of the oven without my mom seeing them?! We had to make her go upstairs to change her clothes so we could get them out since they were starting to burn. It was a little stressful for a minute! Haha..and funny!

It was Whit’s dads birthday, so they stopped by to say goodbye, but had to head to his party. I love these two!

This was a random picture I took of BJ playing with Jorgen! So sweet.

Oh man! Do you think we could find the birthday candles?? No! Dang…we had to pretend. We found these fake balloon things and put them on.

Mom played along with us, and pretended to blow out the candles!

What a good sport! I love my mom!!

My Grandma came over. Isn’t she beautiful? She is so sweet. Jorgen also loved her! Grandma came to the NICU a lot to see Jorgen.

ok…my dad cracks me up! He has started measuring the grandkids and marking it on the door. It is inside the bathroom, on the door. Random place. So Colter, my dad, me and Jor squeezed in the bathroom so dad could measure her! Look at her face!

How cute! Any bets that Koydon will soon be bigger than them all?!

Such a cute Grandpa! He was teaching Jorgen how to growl! Really! She growls all the time now!!

Someone got spoiled!! Grandma loves little Jor!

Ahh…so cute!

Grandma gave Jorgen her first piano lessons! Jorgen loves music.

Isn’t this so cute? I love it!

Grandma was playing “I am a Child of God.”

When we got home, I set out all of Jorgen’s stuff that we got in Idaho!
I bought some, my mom bought some, Kira bought some, and Brandy bought some too!

Some is loved!
She then threw a little fit and arched her back…she better not “act” spoiled!
