Cache County Fair! August 12, 2011

For some reason I love going to the fair…and then once I get to the Cache County Fair I realize it isn’t anything like the Blackfoot Fair.  But that is ok, it is still something fun to do!  And Jorgen was such a good girl!  She wasn’t so sure about the bright sun, but she absolutely loves riding in the stroller!

Look Grandpa…we saw some cows!  And I even wore my cute cow outfit.

She was trying to tell me that the animals are stinky…

 

Colter was busy making fun of me because I wanted to get her picture with all the animals, and some older ladies over heard us and totally took my side!  They commented that this is her first fair!  Thats right…!

Colter ate ribs from Texas Roadhouse, I had a navajo taco and Jor had a bottle…and then was out!  Such a cute girl!

We tried to get her picture by the snowmobiles, but there were so many people playing on them so we got pics with the razrs.

There weren’t any “green” tractors for Grandpa…but this will do!

We stopped out at the bank to see my friends and then came home.  She was enjoying a little TV.

We then went to dinner with Colter’s parents.  What a fun day to get out of the house!

Trip to Idaho Falls

We went to Idaho Falls August 19-21, 2011.  It was Jorgen’s first trip back up there (besides her eye appointment in Pocatello right after she was released from the NICU.)  She did okay on the ride up.  We stopped in Pocatello because my mom was there helping my Aunt JeDeanne.  She was in a car accident and is still recovering, she is a lucky lady.  We then stopped to see my Grandma.  I am so glad we got to see her.  She will be 90 years old in a few months.  I love her!

But she L.O.V.E.D my grandma!  My grandma got to see her in the NICU, but didn’t get to hold her.  Jorgen just looked at my Grandma, it was so cute.

So precious…I love this picture.  I will treasure it forever.

On Saturday we got up and did family pictures in the grain fields…I will post those pics when I get them from Judy!

Koydon and Jorgen are only like 25 days apart!  Jorgen really should be 2 months younger than him though.  We put them both in the bouncer and they were staring at the ceiling fan above them.  Such cute cousins!!

Isn’t he the cutest boy ever?!  He is the HAPPIEST baby ever.  He makes Jorgen look naughty!  Haha…

Later we laid them by each other and let them chatter to each other.  Jorgen kept trying to eat Koydon’s arm.  She is actually almost as long as him, but needs some more meat on her bones!

I tried to get a picture of both of them smiling at the same time, but it didn’t work.  So here is Koydon smiling.  He has the cutest little giggle too.

Look at this cute boy!  His chocolate milk got away from him!  He is adorable.  In a month or two Koydon will be telling Trycen what to do.

We went over to BJ and Whit’s house.  It is ADORABLE!  They have done so much to their place, and it is decorated adorable!  So much cute stuff!

I am so mad at myself…I didn’t get one picture of my mom, Kira or Tyler!  Grr!!  I think I was so worried about Jorgen behaving that I didn’t keep up with taking pictures.  It was such a fun weekend!  I love being “home.”  I can’t wait to see our family pictures!  I love my family!

Jorgen’s Sad Day…August 11, 2011

For some reason Jorgen was so sad ALL day long!  She looked so cute, but just wouldn’t relax.  She screamed and screamed so I decided we would go for a little drive to go see Colter while he was working.   She kept screaming so I thought we would go to McDonald’s to take Colter a McFlurry…the McDonald’s worker looked at me like “don’t you know your kid is screaming?!”  I gave her the look as if saying “Just give me the dang ice cream!”  Ahh…Poor girl.

She finally fell asleep after driving around Hyrum.

I brought the car seat inside and just left her in it for a while!  I tried to be so quiet in hopes she would sleep…but she only slept for about 15 minutes.  Glad we didn’t loose her socks with all the kicking and screaming!

She did sit in her swing for a few minutes…Silly girl!

Visiting Traven

8.1.11

Jorgen and I like to go see Traven while Daddy is working.  It lets me think about things.  It is a good thing for me.

I looked down and found a surprise…a little motorbike.  It was from Kira and her family.  So sweet!

I was having a tender moment, and Jorgen was looking at me wondering what was wrong.

We brought Traven’s toys.  Chocolate Milk is from Addie, and Hippo is from Erin (Addie’s friend).  We can add the motorbike to the list.  For some reason I always forget to grab his Dump Truck from my mom.

Maybe she is looking for him?

We love Traven.  There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t think about him.  We know he is a busy boy on the other side though.

We went for a little drive to Logan.  We stopped and looked at headstones for Traven.  She was a sleepy girl!

Colter and I were sitting down to eat dinner so I put Jorgen on the couch so she could see us.  A few minutes later she decided we were boring to watch and America’s Funniest Videos was better!  I tried to get her attention, and she would not even look at me!  Don’t worry, I didn’t leave here in the position!
